Anyone can enjoy this song because it is what I call a Happy Song.  Of course the people that sang and produced it, at such a powerful point in American history, also made it what it was and what it became.  Timeless.  To me it symbolizes our power to rise like the Phoenix and overcome whatever oppresses the best that we are and can be.  Thank you Dr. Cow for bringing this Mooosic to us.  We are Critters not Christians, but Fox and I play it every morning before we start our day and then every day becomes a Happy Day!
