The Dreamer

Last night I had a dream
About having a dream
And in that dream
It seems
I reflected about
What it means
To see my reflection
In a stream.

Do streams know
That as they flow
Towards points below
My reflection stays
And does not go?

I had a dream
That I was a stream
Flowing there
But being here
To show a dreamer
That I know
There is no place to go.
