About All of Us

About Us

Who Are We?

First of all, once we’re clear on that we’ll let you know!   But seriously, who anyone ever is at any given time, is a work in progress.   At least, we hope so.   Otherwise, where is there to go if you have arrived?

But beyond that, far far away in our own minds, behind the beards and boobs and over sized hats of shy, wanna be wise ones, you’ll find … us.   Being who we are.   Buzzing around together.   Making honey and hay while the Sun shines.    And having fun.   Serious fun sometimes, but fun nonetheless.   At least, that’s what we tell ourselves (in our minds).   And ….. guess what?   That works for us!

So far, we are three friends, who deeply love each other, and enjoy talking about pretty much everything ….. and also enjoy relating to each other as cartoon animals.   It’s not that we have anything against being human, it’s just that we learn more about having fun if we pretend to be cartoons – sort of like like getting really involved with your Avatar, but in a good way (we hope).   Try it!   You might like it!   If you don’t know where to start, don’t worry.   We’ll train you!   We’re cheap too!   Just kidding.   About the training.   Unless you insist.  We aim to please and we’re here to serve (pies ~ and just about everyone).

Anyway, one day a few summers ago while strolling through a beautiful forest together, we were really grooving on the joy and delight of sharing all of our overlapping interests.   We were compelled to start to wonder how the heck can we share some of our groove with others.   We took a look at ourselves, and took a look at the World, and it resulted in a question something like “What the heck is going on and what are we going to do about it?”   We remembered the day we all first met, when Dr. Cow had cartoons pop into his head, and then wrote down” Planit” for the planet.   So we decided to do a project together.   WisdomPie.Love is our first collaboration.

About Dr. Cow

Dr. Cow co-founded this project because he was seeking greener pastures.
He once traveled to the shamanic underworld in a quest for his power animal.  Imagine his shock and horror when it turned out to be a bespectacled bearded mild-mannered Hindu-Jewish-Christian-Atheistic aging male beatnik hippy former professor of the California domiciled earthling variety!  Oh Moooo!  Don’t worry.  Wisdom Pie is proving to be excellent effective therapy.
Dr. Cow loves to pontificate, make terrible puns, dance with the multi-armed elephant headed deity Ganesha, and he can often be seen celebrating Nothing as Everything when Everything is Nothing ~ because it’s All There Is…… and he just likes celebrating … AnyThing, AnyWay.  (And don’t forget to look out for his profound drawings of Nothing that have become a favorite of all seekers of Everything ~ in our minds.  Great for meditation if you can find them!  Hint –  if you found it, you lost It.  If you can’t find It, then you’ve probably found It.)
Dr. Cow’s favorite food is okra. For dessert he, of course, recommends pies.  He is known, and often avoided, for proffering profound unsolicited dietary advice.  “To improve a foul moooood, any pie except those of the cow variety can be helpful.”  Rhubarb pie is his favorite (no added strawberries, please!).  Its taste is provocative, which always suits his own moooood.  Perhaps this is because it is a rare culinary concoction that he enjoys serving as one of his cow tricks (never plays cards).  It is a vegetable and not a fruit pie!

About Bunny

As a creative spiritual visionary of the garden variety, Bunny keeps herself and others hopping from one idea to the next, or diligently digging holes for their ideas to grow.  Sometimes, she’ll suddenly dance up and down and all around from the sheer joy of being alive!  Goodness Garden she sure can dance!!!  But most days she is burrowing deep into her heart to make sure it stays open, or on the internet plotting out humanity’s future of peace, singing a new tune, or trying to figure out what the Fox is up to, or laughing at Dr. Cow’s stories, or just hopping around connecting with others and finding out what’s important to them.  Her favorite time of day is quietly watching the wind make love to the tops of the trees at sundown.  Broccoli is Bunny’s favorite food but she loves anything from the Garden of Life as long as it causes no harm.  On really good days, when she gets cozy, quiet and relaxed, she realizes Everything is already Everything and then goes to sleep, safe and sound.

About Fox

Fox is a curious dynamic blend of inward-finding and outward-seeking, eventually finding …. himself, or Some Thing, Some Where in the middle of Space where No One has gone before.   And oh, does he LOVE to tell us about it!   And LUCKY for us!!!   He has studied the teachings of spiritual masters, as well as professors of the social sciences… only to shed that skin…er, fur.

Fox has read more books than one can shake a Forest at… and one day he is going to reach deep into his bulging Bag of Tricks and share some of his special magic that will really assist us, and anyone else who will listen, in being healthy, happy and hip.  World watch out!

Apart from that, Fox is a lover of forests, a certain bunny, music and exotic sounds, and all things related to health, healing and human awakening (studying crazy good is his specialty).  His favorite friend where the Forest meets the Pastures of Life is Dr. Cow, as they love to talk about All Sorts of Things and sneak out for french fries when Bunny is busy (sshhhh … don’t tell Bunny!).
